So Many Faces

Brandon and Bailey have so many different expressions they display on their little faces each day. They also have so many things that they choose to put on their faces to alter or, they might say, to super charge themselves. Take today. Brandon spent most of the afternoon wearing his red and black face mask and red armband that I was almost convinced that Brandon had disappeared and Brandon the Superhero had flown in. Fun times.

The 2 boys and I did our last kindergarten run for the week. I eagerly await Thursdays on the weeks Brandon goes to kindy for 3 days. It's nice to have him hanging out with us and things feel a bit less stressful. Although we have Karate in the morning we still get most of the day free to come and go as we like. It took us yet another hour before we finally left kindergarten this morning and that was with me scooping Bailey up and running out the doors with him. He just absolutely loves it there. Of course this was the morning that we were planning on leaving kindergarten early to meet up with my friend Melinda and 1 of her boys. We went to the local tavern which is just huge and has a great spot for kids to play. Bailey and Mel's little boy Luke played just beautifully together. We stayed there for several hours until Bailey had had enough. He got cranky and started loosing the plot so we said our goodbyes and left. We had had a great time.

By now it was 12:30pm Bailey was crying soI looked at Bailey and then I looked out the window and then back to Bailey before then thinking let's just go and pick up Brandon. So off to kindergarten we trotted. Brandon was most excited. Bailey started again on doing all the jigsaw puzzles so the fun began again. Finally we arrived home. Bailey slept for a very short while before hooning down to join us again. The afternoon flew by and my husband arrived home while I then went off to work. Bailey and daddy played outside the whole time while I worked then as I finished I cooked up dinner for the kids. My husband went to the gym while I bathed and then read to the boys. Bailey decided just before bath time to put a pair of his undies on his head and run around. As I said, my 2 boys have many faces. It was gross because he had just had them on his bottom. My crazy boys. As soon as they both know something they have done grosses me out they do it over and over again usually until I'm dry reaching. Delightful children.
