Today was a fix it day. It began with the pest controller returning to respray parts of the house for bugs. Job done. The next thing we had to do was take my car to the tyre shop so as to repair one of my tyres, take off my spare and replace it with the fixed one and get a wheel alignment. While the car was predisposed, the 2 boys and I walked about 1km in the rain up to the giant indoor playground. Luckily I had come prepared with 3 umbrellas and a change of clothes for each of the boys if needed. The 2 boys and I had a great time at the playground. Brandon met a little boy that became his best friend and they played really well together.
The 2 boys and I kept playing at the playground until the torrential rain stopped and then we made a run for it all the way back to the tyre shop. Surprisingly it all only cost me $25.00 and that included a wheel alignment. Unfortunately the mechanic wasn't so positive about the remaining life of my car. Not good. Then we drove home so as to meet the computer man that was coming around to fix both our computers. Unfortunately, our 4 year old computer is on the way out too according to the computer mechanic and I need to keep an eye on my laptop to make sure that its recent collapse will not occur again. While somewhat depressing with everything apparently "stuffed and on the way out" according to the mechanic and computer repair man, at least I am aware of the problems and can begin to fix them.
I had a busy afternoon at work while daddy took the 2 boys food shopping. It is still raining outside and I believe it's meant to continue over the whole weekend. We have a few ideas of great things to do. Hopefully over the weekend nothing else will wait to be out of warranty before it drops its bundle.
