Lego Land
Today because of our roaring success of our at home day yesterday, Brandon said that he just wanted to stay at home today. I had a few things planned for the day. Firstly Brandon went to Karate of which he went really great. Actually he was fantastic. I was really proud of him.
We traveled home so the boys could eat and eat and I could pack some food in a lunchbox to take with us for the boys so they could eat and eat later. The 2 boys and I drove off to Kmart to get some new pillows for Brandon and Bailey and also to buy a tub of Lego and pick up a lay by. We also bought 3 very small Easter Eggs, 2 of which were unwrapped before we departed the shop. Need I say more. The boys had more food in the car as we travelled to the nearest office stationary shop. It was about this time that crazed Bailey went even more crazed. At the stationary shop Bailey was off. He was running everywhere. Up stairs and around corners and everywhere in between.
We came home with the 2 boys wide awake and urgently wanting to play with the Lego. So we all did. I also bought in heaps of washing because it looked like it was about to bucket down rain. The afternoon was spent playing with Lego and building blocks all the while with me desperately needing to do a whole heap of work. Didn't happen. Daddy raced home and I raced to work. Meanwhile the 2 boys continued playing with the Lego.Poor daddy had a rough time with the boys this afternoon. They truly would not listen to him. Both of them lost their ability to hear.Hopefully it comes back tomorrow. So as a result I bathed the boys and fed them some supper all the while reading them some books. I got them both in bed before they then both simultaneously decided to eat. So I fed them some more. As a result of the copious amounts of food consumed by the 2 boys today, we are having to go shopping tomorrow and I am sure we will continue playing with the Lego and creating all sorts of little worlds.
