A Little Bit Over It All

I am just a wee bit exhausted today. For some reason nothing really gelled for me today but I continued on and managed to get through the day. This morning the 4 of us headed out to a beach side suburb to go to the markets, except it started really raining so we just continued on for a drive. Of course we drove around and looked at real estate. Saw a few good locations. We drove on over to a chemist to get some black goo to put on Brandon's hands which is meant to draw out splinters. He currently has 3 big splinters in his left hand. Right next door to the discount chemist shop was a Harvey Norman furniture shop of which we ventured in to look at Laptops. Daddy ended up buying one with a 40% discount which is what had attracted us to the shop.

Anyway, the 4 of us then drove back home to have some lovely lunch at the Golf Club, just 1 roundabout away from our house We had a great time. Every time we go to the Golf Club for lunch it does get a little easier with the kids. Today they stayed still for about 2 minutes more than usual- which actually means they stayed still for 2 minutes! Daddy and I took turns running up and down the hill with the boys. Brandon and Bailey rolled down the grassed hill nearby the restaurant. We had lunch outside and all the way through lunch Brandon was eyeing off the grassy hill making comments on just how much he really wanted to play on the grass.

We all headed home and even before we were inside, both boys decided they wanted to jump on the trampoline with the 2 litre tubs of bubble bath we had bought at the chemist earlier. There was bubbles everywhere but mostly all over the boys.  So the afternoon was spent with bubbles everywhere and 2 very tired boys. Bailey eventually fell asleep on the lounge again. He just couldn't quite hang in there until official bed time. Daddy cooked dinner for the boys while I then fed them. I started losing my puff at about this stage so daddy bathed the boys and read them some books. Once I had rejuvenated myself to a point I resumed my parental duties and put Bailey to bed. I'm looking forward to Easter holidays coming up soon and then I'll be a little bit more inspired and a little more rejuvenated as apposed to a little bit over it all.
