Here We Come!

It continues to rain. Surely our house is going to sail away soon. The 2 boys slept in a little bit this morning so that Bailey didn't wake up until 6am. It's a shame I didn't go to sleep until 2am this morning. Both boys were full of beans with their volume on full. I spent the morning working so daddy took the boys to Kmart. They must have had the best fun because they didn't come home until nearly 2 hours later and when they did they had half the shop with them. It's always interesting to see what the boys have convinced daddy to buy whenever they all go out together. Yesterday it was cake decorations when they went food shopping, and today it was swimming goggles, a swimming mask, a snorkel and a red plastic hobby horse. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

We had plans for all sorts of exciting things outdoors today once I had finished work, but as we seem to be experiencing a flood  here we had to readjust our itinerary. So once everyone was hydrated, fed and 2 little boys had pooped off we went to the Monkey Business Indoor Play Centre. Daddy had never ventured to one of these fantastic playgrounds before so it was all new for him. It was packed. Every child and their parents were there today. Here I am thinking I'm being orriginal in my ideas and that it will be fairly quiet on a cold, dreary, wet day when you can't do anything outside with kids!

We all had a great time. I think daddy almost had the best time amongst us. It's good in that it takes you back to being a kid. It's also a great place to exhaust kids. The boys ran, climbed, slid, jumped, swung, rocked and then went back and did it all again and again.

So very close to boys dinner time that we thought we should head home. Still raining. Now have 2 very tired but happy boys. Once home Brandon played with his new hobby horse- attaching it to spiderman's web, a table and a chair and a lounge. Bailey just ran havoc by trying to grab some part of Brandon's construction and running.

Off to bed the boys go. Brandon's bright green light has flat batteries so no green alien light tonight. Looking forward to our adventures tomorrow. Let's hope it just stops raining.
