Upside Down With Their Own Little Personalities

Today was another early start for Bailey and I. We had a chance to play together for nearly 1 1/2hrs while everyone else slept. Such a warm fuzzy feeling. As it was and still is raining outside I knew our activities for the day would have to be modified. So once everyone had eventually woken up, we had done our regular juicing, and I had piled all our fruit scraps back into a bowl to take out to the compost bin, I packed the bags for the day. For the first time in about 13 years daddy had today off. Hooray!! Alas he still went and did some unofficial work so the 2 boys and I went off to Bunnings (again!!) to do Art and Craft for the under 5's.

We all had a great time. The boys painted mugs. Bailey also painted his right ear. Cheeky boy. I think he waited until I was washing out a brush for Brandon. Brandon only wanted to paint the inside of his mug, so not one he'll eventually drink from I hope. Once I wiped all the paint off the boys hands, face, arms and clothes we then handed back the clean paint smock. Not a surprising outcome. Said goodbye to the boys 2 little friends and off we went to aisle 23 for our live worms. We bought 500 worms and a pitch fork. And I bought gloves for dealing with those 500 worms.

Headed home to discover daddy there. Left a sleeping Bailey and a constantly talking Brandon with daddy while I headed off to the markets to replenish our fruit and veggie supplies. Homeward bound I came realising that I still had the worms in my car. Was greeted by a drawing daddy and Brandon and a crying Bailey. Still am astounded by how much food growing kids eat. Re-fueled everyone then thought I should move those worms before they decide to move themselves. Trapsed through the rain to the compost bin to delivery worms to their brand new abode all successfully delivered with my brand new gloves on.

Bailey and Brandon decided to wrestle with each other for most of the afternoon. Bailey likes his new found ability to jump off the lounge from every conceivable angle. Gets your heart racing just watching him, but he laughs and thinks it's hilarious which of course encourages Brandon to join in and add a whole new dimension to the activities.

The 2 boys and daddy went off to do the food shopping. What a great family.I made 1001 phone calls (seriously I did!) and then went to work. Once home  Brandon and Bailey kept wrestling and laughing. Was the best thing to have 2 boys. They are best friends even though a lot of the time it ends in tears. Read books, bailey ate more food, giggled, tried to keep playing and Bailey tried to do a nudie run. Not sure why you need to do that just before bed. One day he might let me know. Brandon went to sleep with his bright green light from his glow stick shinning in his face again. Hey, whatever works. Such funny little boys. Such wonderful little personalities.
