Today was a somewhat unsuccessful day so as few words written about the day the better.Therefore, I'll be brief. Bailey was up at 4:30am and after some coaxing did eventually go back to sleep. The 2 boys and I rushed out the door to go to Karate only to discover that my car keys were missing. They stayed missing for another 20 minutes until they quietly established we were really late and considerably frantic and then they emerged. We arrived at Karate 15 minutes late only to find the instructor was obviously not having a good day with the kids already present. In fact it was 2 of the parents that received the biggest blasting from the instructor. Wasn't nice vibes so we left hoping that next week would be better.
The 2 boys and I went to our lovely garden shop that we had been to last week as well. I don't know what happened but shortly into our adventure Brandon declared that he wanted to go home while Bailey refused to go home. It wasn't the most pleasant experience from then on in. When we arrived home, according to Brandon, his Carnation seeds that he'd chosen had to be planted straightaway and also Bailey's chosen eggplant seeds had to be done straightaway too. It wasn't the top thing that I really wanted to be doing while not feeling so great. I also had to move several 30kg bags of mushroom compost from my car to the backyard.
With all the seeds planted and all plants watered, I eventually rounded up the 2 boys and attempted to give them some lunch. Not highly successful but hopefully enough to sustain their energy levels to late afternoon. The rest of the afternoon and evening were really more of the same. The 2 boys were full on with their volume right up. I'm really looking forward to putting my head on my pillow tonight. Goodbye the 19th May 2011. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
