This is Bailey's favourite saying at the moment to my husband and myself. He knows it firstly because he's learnt it from Brandon and he says it over and over again because he knows that he gets a reaction from us every single time. He even wobbles his head and rolls his eyes as he says it. He's a clever kid. He's a sponge. At the moment Bailey is copying every single thing that someone says. Word for word he repeats it back to you. His language has just blossomed over the past few weeks. It looks like he is going to be a talker as well. While at this stage not so constant, nonstop as Brandon, but when he gets going he just keeps going.
Being that Brandon is so very sick again at the moment I didn't think it advisable that the 2 boys go to their swimming lessons for the day. Bailey would have been OK but I didn't want to take the chance that he might be about to get sick from all of Brandon's slobber and snot, and then putting him in water could potentially make it worse. Usually Bailey gets very sick 2 days after Brandon goes down ill. My fingers are crossed that this time Bailey avoids it.
Wading through all the snotty tissues (figuratively!), the 2 boys and I did briefly duck out to the sports shop to return daddy's new gym towel. It was micro fibre and was just way too weird and erky to touch. From there we headed over to the bank to complete, strangely enough, some banking. Then we ventured in to Kmart. As Brandon was sick and I had been up ALL last night with a continuously ravenous Bailey, and therefore didn't unnecessarily feel like running everywhere after 2 small children, I put them both in a trolley. Praise to the person who invented workable shopping trolleys. While I usually don't like putting children in a trolley or seeing other kids climbing all over trolleys, I just had to. Both boys were perfect angels. We bought a few things at Kmart which were mostly for my work before then making a snap decision to buy a hopefully winning lotto ticket. Stay tuned. Will let you know.
Bailey had a very big 3 hour sleep while Brandon just had a quiet afternoon blowing his nose and watching some TV. We actually had to head out to buy some more tissue boxes to keep up with demand. Hopefully what we have will get Brandon through the night. My client this afternoon text me to see if she could come earlier. Too right she could I responded in a nice polite way. So I finished at 5:15pm instead of my anticipated 7pm. Quite a nice early mark.
Bailey spent the whole evening saying "Whatever Mummy, Whatever Daddy". He doesn't necessarily say it to anyone specifically, he just makes a big sweeping comment while making sure that he is audible to all. He says it until someone reacts, and then when we do he continues saying it with a big smile on his face. He is cheeky but absolutely adorable. Brandon is sick but absolutely fantastic. "Whatever Bailey, Whatever Brandon!!"
