6 Loads Of Washing

There was 6 loads of washing sitting on the lounge. There was 6 loads of washing sitting on the lounge, and if 1 load of washing should accidental fall, they'll be another 3 loads of washing that I can put back in its place. I was the queen of washing today. Not a title that I desire or would ever hold dearly, but all I orchestrated today, besides children, was washing. I think I was trying to wash all sickness away in the washing machine. I'm pretty sure that I succeeded. My husband is finally improving from his gastro experience, and what an experience it was, and so are the 2 boys. I seemed to have sideswiped it. Thank goodness.

My husband actually had the day off work today. In the 13 1/2 years that I've known him, I can count the number of days he has had off sick on say 1 finger. So he slept for many an hour while the 2 boys and I cleaned and de-cluttered the house. The carpet cleaners were coming around at 11am and they arrived at 11am. I love it when trades folk arrive exactly when they say they will. Our carpets look and smell fantastic. We also got Bailey's 2 seater lounge cleaned plus Brandon's mattress. Now everything is just rosy.

I had a client this afternoon who's appointment I brought forward by several hours as daddy was already home to look after the kids. I know he was sick, but well why not. That meant I finished work at 4pm instead of starting then. It was great. Daddy wearyingly drove off to a job site to deliver masses amount of paint for his staff to use tomorrow when they work. The 2 boys and I continued to do washing. We also made beds, got pyjamas ready, bought in washing from the clothes line, ran around, answered a 1001 questions from 2 small boys, cooked dinner, hung more washing out, began bathing boys then daddy arrived home.

The 2 boys drifted off to sleep easily tonight. I fell asleep briefly on Brandon's floor while settling him. I knew that I would, although hoping that I wouldn't. Now I plan to relax. I'm boycotting folding the washing. It can stay in 1 giant, enormous pile for the night. Happy travelling mum and dad. Hope you're having a great time while managing to keep warm. It's very warm here in Queensland. Goodnight.
