Ben 10 Overload

Today I reached my Ben 10 saturation point. It took awhile to get to that point as I'm a pretty tolerant person, but today I just went no more. Brandon has Ben 10 jumpers, undies, shoes, hats, t-shirts, singlets, toys, DVDs, backpack, wristbands, washers, socks, and a watch. While I realise my husband and I have facilitated this obsession, I think I've had enough. I'm out. I'd like girl things.

As I went off to work for the whole day, I said goodbye to my 3 men as Brandon was watching Ben 10 on DVD. Daddy was taking the boys to the toy section of Myer to buy the kids each a little toy. Brandon was going to get the Ben 10 Legacy Omnitrix (a watch with super powers) and Bailey was going to get a train. All my clients were lovely and well behaved today so it made the day go quiet quickly. The day always goes quick when I'm working in 1 hour intervals. While I love my work, it was nice to finish. I gobbled up the fastest honey crumpet before jumping in my car to head over to my lady who is the master of eyebrows and super fantastic for make up artistry. I managed to overlap with my husband's return just before I departed. He sounded happy but a little weary. Bailey was asleep and that's apparently where he stayed for another 2 hours.

I had a great time at Mel's. It's just the most perfect small business. It's professional and feminine, calm and beautiful. I used my enormous gift voucher at Mel's that I'd received from my boys for Mother's day/my birthday a few weeks ago.I had the best facial that I've ever had. I felt great. So when I finally arrived home afterwards, I was calm and inspired, and then bombarded with 2 small children. It sounds like everyone had a great day. Brandon did come home with a huge Omnitrix pretending to ward off all the baddies while Bailey came home with Spencer- A Thomas & friends engine. I rang more clients back to try and book them in. Uneventful afternoon.

As I'm falling asleep here in front of the computer, it gives me the perfect literary chance to say goodbye. It took me 90 minutes to get Bailey to sleep tonight while Brandon, strangely enough, was asleep within 10 minutes. My husband is still asleep in Brandon's room so I'll farewell you in a minute and go and wake him up.Bailey has his train in bed with him while I'm imagining that Brandon has his special Ben 10 watch on. Maybe when he wakes up tomorrow he'll be Four Arms or Canon Bolt, or Diamond Head, or Wild Mutt, Spider Monkey, Humongosaur, or XLR8. I know my Ben 10 aliens!
