Moving Thru The Day

It was another beautiful sunny and warm today. Queensland is the best place to experience a winter as I'm not so keen on the cold. After not having any dinner last night, I was anticipating a huge demand for breakfast from the 2 boys. The rush never came. Both boys are just not hungry at the moment. I'm hoping that when they both wake up tomorrow, they'll want to eat everything that's in the fridge and more. Just like they normally do.

Gorgeous Brandon went off to Kindergarten this morning. His kindergarten have a Treasure Box that each child eventually gets a turn to take home for one night so as to put a treasure into it and then return it to kindergarten to show all the other kids. Last night Brandon had asked me, or politely suggested, that I write a letter to his kindergarten asking for it to be his turn to have the Treasure Box. I didn't think that he would really give it to his teacher, but this morning he made a bee line straight for her and deposited it straight into her hand. She told me that she would see what she could do. I was horrified. I wanted Brandon to wait his turn and to learn about waiting his turn, but alas he has the Treasure Box home with him tonight.

Bailey and I went to Bunnings Art & Craft which was good fun. The lady who is now running the sessions is fantastic and it's all free. Today Bailey decorated a pot and then planted a Cauliflower plant and a Marigold plant. After he'd had enough sticking things on the pot, the Bunnings lady, sorry I don't know her name yet, took us all out to the Garden section of the shop and taught the kids about veggies. They organised what they were going to plant next week- beetroot and carrots. The lady wants to teach the kids about veggies grown in the ground, as apposed to today's veggies that were grown above ground. She is a wonderful woman.

Bailey and I had a play in the Bunnings playground for awhile. Bailey looked like he was running out of puff a little so I gave him some food, and put him in the trolley. I wanted to look at a few things before we left. I bought some prickle spray to kill them off, some fruit spray to help our new trees grow beautifully, a watering can and a double towel rail. I just can't stand that ours has broken in our bathroom any longer. Bailey and I then headed out to the big shopping centre to check the PO Box, check $, and buy Brandon some more undies. It took us a rather long time but we got there in the end. Bailey slept for 30 minutes at home while I raced around getting all my things ready for work. I could have done so much more but I thought I'd really like to sit down for 10 minutes. So I did. I felt better.

We picked up Brandon from Kindergarten what felt like to me only 30 minutes since we dropped him off. Time just flies. Once home, I got ready for work, daddy babysat the 2 boys who drew, talked, squealed, ran, crashed and banged through the afternoon. Everything that you'd expect from our household. Today we just all kept moving through the day. Nothing spectacular happened, it all just flowed.
