By 6:30am this morning, the 2 boys and I were painting the ceiling in our ensuite. It had a few black marks on it and when I washed them off it really did nothing to hide them. So we painted the ceiling. I actually really enjoyed it. I did a little renovation on my bathroom and bedroom ceiling all before 8am with 2 little boys. Things are possible.
Once I'd washed up all the painting things, the 2 boys and I got ready for the day. Of course Brandon watched Ben 10 on TV and then we headed out. I actually wanted to drop the ladder back to my husband that he had so very generously let me borrow, although I am pretty sure that he really needed it at work today. Thanks sweetheart. Upon seeing daddy at work, Brandon and Bailey went crazy, although it doesn't take much. Once I managed to round them up again and calm them down, the 3 of us headed into the local shops to check the PO Box and do some banking, all the things that I had wanted to do yesterday. Anyway, jobs done, the 2 boys and I grabbed a Boost Juice each and sat down to enjoy. Both boys were so exceptionally good. They just sat still and drank. I was in awe. Both boys even predominately walked back to the car. In fact I carried Bailey most of the way plus 3 Boost Juices, the mail and my purse. It was a juggle but doable.
Bailey slept for nearly 1 1/2hours while Brandon and I cleaned the house. We had a valuer coming through our house at 2:30pm so I wanted the house to be as clean and respectable as possible. Bailey awoke and we all hung out together for awhile. The valuer arrived and typically he may have lacked some social skills. He certainly didn't know how to handle the 2 boys. They picked up on that and left him to it. My husband arrived home earlier than usual which was lovely so we had a bit of time to catch up before I then went off to work. I was very busy at work and didn't finish until quite late, and even though I had everything ready for the 2 boys to go to bed early, they were still up once I'd finished.
Hopefully the valuer thinks our house is priceless and valuers it accordingly. I hope he is very generous and writes a great report off to the bank. I look forward, with fingers crossed, that the other 2 valuations come in much higher than anticipated too.
