A Much Better Day

A new day always makes me feel like I can take on the world again, as it did today. A fresh start. It was Brandon's first day back at kindergarten after 2 weeks holiday so I spent the early morning making food up for both boys, and then I made more food up for the boys. The food just keeps on going. Brandon was very excited to be going to kindergarten. All his friends were so very excited to see him. It was so very lovely.  I gave Brandon a kiss and hug and then Bailey and I went off to the shops to do a few things. We had a nice time together. Then we jumped back into the car and went to the bank. That done, Bailey feel asleep in the car. Now he hasn't slept during the day for a long time so from my perspective it was quiet and peace full. I watched some daytime TV while my clients text me for appointments. I had to wake Bailey up so as to go and collect Brandon.

Brandon was very excited to see Bailey and myself this afternoon. I missed him so much. Sometimes I think it's a shame that he has to go to kindergarten because I love hanging out with him. Then I remember that he has to grow up and discover the world too. Our afternoon was relatively quiet. I had a busy evening at work while my husband looked after the 2 boys. Once I'd finished work, the 2 boys went crazy. It was definitely a much better day today. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
