Are Words Really Needed?

Do I really need to comment any further?

This is Bailey doing what he always does. I had just served up morning tea (see unrecognisable squashed food on blue table). That's yoghurt in his hair, Vegemite on his right arm and banana on his singlet all washed down with orange juice. Needless to say I picked him up and put him straight into the bath.

We had our stay at home day today. I can't say that I would really be keen to do it again in a hurry with kids as I much prefer to go on adventures out and about. Even Brandon asked if we were going any where today. We did 4 loads of washing first thing this morning of which I managed to get all 4 loads hung up on the clothes line. It's extremely hot so I thought it would dry very quickly, until it poured torrential rain about 1 hour after it was all up. So 4 loads came off the line at break neck speed.  1/2hr later clear skies so out the washing went again.  I even managed to get another 2 loads out once the first 4 were dry. I just need someone to fold it all now.

The rest of the day was spent with Bailey drawing on the bathroom tiles and then on the timber floors in the bedroom. Eventually he lined up crayon and paper. Brandon has a dinosaur sticker book with 1000 dinosaur stickers in it. Except by 9am this morning there was about 750 on his walls and door, his books and himself. He even stuck some on Bailey. It's amazing how much he understands. Bailey said "car" and "bus" today. We are so excited. After I dressed Bailey in some nice clothes, he walked out of his room and Brandon said "Ah, what a beautiful baby. You look gorgeous Bailey" How lovely. On the flip side at some point when the boys were eating today, Bailey threw food at Brandon (again). Brandon turned to Bailey and said " You're a horse. You're a horse that lives in my house" and he said it like it was the worst insult in the whole world.

We completely organised daddy and my wardrobe. It was getting to the point of being out of control.  It's all great now. Of course cleaning out the wardobe created more washing. Never ending. The 2 boys and I also put out all the bins for the garbage truck pickup today. I also managed to do some computing work while the boys played in the 2 room together.  Then we actually got out of our daggy home clothes to jump in the car so that I could drop off some Gift Vouchers to a client. Then we ducked into the bakery to grab some lunch and take it home to eat. Needless to say I was cleaning up after Bailey yet again, although he didn't need a bath this time. Hooray!

The rest of the day was spent with the 2 boys and I outside and then once daddy came home from work, we changed shifts and he played with the boys and I went to work. Luckily neither daddy nor myself are working over the weekend. Yippee!!! Even though I love my work and business, it's still nice to have some time off that co insides with daddy's.

As neither of the 2 boys had slept all day, daddy made the decision not to go food shopping as originally planned. Wise decision I think. He would have been playing with fire otherwise. Brandon fell asleep straight away while Bailey wasn't so keen. He just gets so very hungry before bed. He's eating us out of home so luckily we are going food shopping tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow's food will stay in Bailey's mouth or on his table.
