- Sausages float really well in juice when it's all over my table.
- Looks great on my big brother.
- Great for sliding through when it's all over the floor.
- Makes me nice and cool when it's all over me.
- Licking it off the floor is far more interesting than drinking it from a cup.
- And the best one of all- it looks great ALL over mummy!
Today the boys and I went to Karate. Brandon appeared to have a great time. The instructor scares me when he is teaching the kids, but they don't seem to mind. I know it's part of the training but gosh it's so regimented. Brandon did so well at Karate . I was so very proud of him. Next week I think that he actually gets his official uniform. Can't wait. Will take lots of pictures.
From Karate we ventured home. 2 minutes later we arrived home. I had heaps of options for activities to do with the boys today including cleaning the house. Sometimes I can actually make cleaning their rooms somewhat exciting for them. One of my friends had invited us to the local swimming pool today with her 2 boys. I had planned to have a somewhat quietish day but well there is always tomorrow, or the next day or maybe in a few years time. So the 2 boys and I came inside to organise swimming. Eventually I got 2 boys dressed in swimmers and then packed food and more food, towels, dry clothes, and ourselves and off we went again.
We had to get petrol first up so out we all trasped into the petrol station, paid and then off we went to the swimming pool. As we walked in to the pool our friends were walking out. The kids had had their swimming lessons and their play afterwards. So we continued into the pool. It was an incredibly hot day so going to the pool was perfect.
The 2 boys and I played in the water for several hours. Time just went. Brandon had gone feral as we walked in to the pool so it was a challenging adventure. Little Bailey wasn't keen to go. He truly just wanted to stay. Hopefully it will be hot again tomorrow and daddy can have the fun of taking the boys to the pool, and he would have fun.
We came home again and Bailey had a sleep. He had fallen asleep before I had even started the car to drive away from the pool. Brandon's energiser battery was still going. He stuck his karate stickers up on his wall and then lay on his bed for awhile looking up at his art and accomplishment wall. He is very proud of himself. I hope that he always is.
Just as I was contemplating the short time I had left before I went to work, and all the things I still had to do, daddy came home. Hooray!! The 2 boys and daddy spent the afternoon watching cartoons and then venturing outside to run. Both boys took all their clothes off and ran and climbed.
Between clients, both boys ran up to me and were so excited to see me which was just great. Bedtime was a little less chaotic. Brandon fell asleep literally before his head hit the pillow. Bailey had to eat his 1kg of yoghurt before he fell asleep.
