I Wonder What I'll Find

Today I found money in the fruit section of our fridge, a fork in the bathroom cupboard,  a toy tractor in with the cold chicken in the fridge, and just then a pink crayon in my pyjamas under my pillow. Everyday I wonder what I'll come across and where it will present itself. I know who the little culprit is. He doesn't seem to question his strange choice of hiding holes. The other hiding holes Bailey is obsessed with are his ears and nose. Bailey likes to put everything up his nose or into his ears.- a guaranteed way of hiding things for him and a guaranteed way of freaking  mummy out,.

The 2 boys and I went food shopping today. We didn't manage to get a rock star car park at the front door so from then on I knew things would be a little challenging. Everyone is in Christmas shopping mode now so the shops are packed and therefore so is the car park. What's life if you don't face challenges, and I'm used to ,but not really enjoying, walking 1 km to the shop entrance with 2 boys in my arms, our green bags, and our day bag full of emergency things and food. Last week we even managed to do it with umbrellas as well.

The enigma of the double shopping trolley never ceases to amaze me. Of the thousands of trolleys all neatly attached together today there was no double trolley. Luckily I know where the trolley men hide it. I am not sure why they hide it, but it works for me because no-one else knows about it. Keep up the good work trolley men.

Shopping with my 2 boys is an interesting adventure. Today Brandon was in his element. "Mummy..."  "Yes Brandon" In fact it was Mummy this Mummy that, Mummy here, Mummy there and Mummy everywhere. Brandon talks all the time, but today I don't think he came up for air once.

We finally finished the shopping, where we then had morning tea, and then piled back into the car to head home. Three days in a row where both boys have fallen asleep at the same time. I raced around doing the usual of trying to run a business, dealing with all the washing that was starting to ooze out of the laundry, unpack shopping, put garbage bins out, maintain some sort of cleanliness to the house, organised dinner and then sat down and ate an uninterrupted lunch. I didn't mind what happened from then on. I had had lunch at the temperature it was meant to be eaten at, not 3 hours after I originally made it and cold.

After cooking the boys dinner I got ready for work and then off  I went. The boys had the immense pleasure of  having ice-cream, sprinkles, chocolate sauce all on an ice-cream cone. When I finished work I had the immense pleasure in seeing the mess they created.

The afternoon moved along beautifully. The 2 boys and I went outside and ran around for awhile before I got heaps of chalk out and we started drawing on the cement down one side of the house. Heaps of fun and no worries about chalk getting drawn on the walls.

I look forward to seeing hat tomorrow brings and to finding all sorts of bits and pieces all over the house.
