Run, Run, Run

Well I have a new camera. Wish I could take a photo of it and put it here. It's a little bit girly. I thought that living with daddy and 2 boys that I am already over run with testosterone, so I'm going to buy a bright cherry red camera. Today I was awake before everyone else. I was ready for the day and still no-one was up. So I watched TV. I watched anything on TV besides Diego and Dora and Poo Bear. It was full on straight away once everyone woke up. The 2 boys and I made up a freshly squeezed juice for everyone. While I'm cutting up truckloads of fruit, Bailey runs and gets all the pieces to the juicer out, and then Brandon runs to get the big heavy mechanical part of the juicer. It's a team effort.

It was about now that Brandon decided to do a nudie run. He went up to his room and then came back completely  naked. He said that he wanted to do lots of things nude. I asked him like what and he said that he wanted to run in the nude- so he did. He said that he wanted to jump on the lounge in the nude-so he did. He said that he wanted to ride his bike in the nude-so he did. He said he now wanted to run in the nude with his sandals on-so he did. Daddy and I were quite amused. Bailey had  no idea what to think. He continued to look somewhat confused by Brandon's performance.

Once juiced and breakfasted up the 2 boys and I walked  to a garage sale 2 doors up. Never take a small child to a garage sale. It just doesn't work. We came back with so much stuff and it only cost us $6.00. What a bargain. Then we collected daddy and jumped in the car to head out to Harvey Norman to buy a new camera for us. The boys just ran and ran and ran in the shop. Of course they both like to run in opposite directions. I am hoping that one day they do travel in the same direction.  I made a successful purchase and then off we went to Bunnings which was right next door. It has been a while since we have been there so it was good to be back in that environment. I think we may go to Art and Craft there next Friday. It's always great fun.

We all sat in the car and had morning tea because daddy had bought 3 sausage sandwiches for himself and the boys at Bunnings. Once complete we headed home where little Bailey had a sleep. Brandon and I had some lunch and read the 101 Dalmatians Book, which we had picked up from the garage sale. We also drew and coloured in. Once Bailey awoke and was somewhat fed I packed up some food and all 4 of us headed down to the park at the end of our street (2 houses away). We played and played but mostly the 2 boys and I ran and ran and ran.

We ended up staying at the park for over 2 hours and by chance we met some friends later in the afternoon there. Our 2 boys played and ran and ran with their friends. The other 2 boys had bought their 2 little plastic bikes with them so of course Brandon and Bailey wanted a turn. They sped down hills at a break neck speed only to rely on their shoes to stop them or me. We all had a great time. Eventually we managed to pull the boys away to go home for them to have some dinner.

Daddy made dinner for the boys while I played with them outside for another hour. We looked at our veggie garden only to discover that all our veggies are growing phenomenally. We have tomatoes galore and zucchinis, cucumber and capsicums. The herbs and lettuces are growing profusely too.  By now the kids were exhausted and starting to cry and wine for no reason so we served up dinner, dunked them in the bath, read books and then turned the lights off and then listened to why two kids didn't need to go to sleep. It wasn't long before both boys were contently sleeping. They finally stopped. They truly could not have run anymore.
