"I Can Do It All By Myself"

I woke up this morning to Brandon beside me bellowing out "I can do it all by myself!". Unsure as to what he was referring to and alarmed I was suddenly awake, I eventually asked him what he was able to do by himself. He told me that he had done a wee and a poo in his pants overnight. Good morning to me! He then told me that it had been very hard but that he had done it. Now I was really wide awake. I asked what was hard to do, I already had visions in my mind, and he told me that it had been very hard to pull off the quilt cover and the pillowcase and the bottom sheet.  So that's how my day started.

Neither daddy nor myself were working today. Daddy couldn't because of the rain and well I just didn't. The 4 of us bravely piled into the shops. I was hoping to stock up on nappies for Bailey so that we would have some for the Christmas break. BIG W were having a sale. We stocked up big. The shops were crazy. We did a few other little things and then jumped back into the the car to go home. Both boys had a sleep which was highly appreciated.

Time past ever so quickly and then the boys were up again. I went off to get my haircut and on my arrival home I heard banging and crashing and then the door being flung open by Brandon. It's always good to be home. The boys missed me which was nice. We regrouped and ran around the house for awhile before then venturing outside to walk up the street to some local markets that were on. They were pretty good, but just needed a bigger hall to be in. I enquired about doing something with my business at the next one so we'll see how that goes.

Once we got home it was well and truly dinner time. The 2 boys both ate like it was all going out of fashion. I have never seen the two boys eat so much food and Bailey continued eating again after his bath. They ate kilos of yoghurt,  and an orchard of fruit, noodles, and veggies, and fruit gel. It just went on and on. Even before bed Brandon was still telling me that he can do everything all by himself. I love his independence.
