This morning the 2 boys and I finished cleaning the house and my car before Nanny A arrived. The 2 boys were very excited. Brandon and Bailey showed nanny around. After several hours of the boys being tour guides we all headed into the shops to do our food shopping. I thought I'd do it today so that we could all have some quality time tomorrow. The 4 year olds birthday with which we were all going to tomorrow has been cancelled unfortunately, which means daddy nor myself are working.Yippee! That means we can have some fun.
Everyone was pretty good at the shops. Brandon just walked with Nanny and then when Nanny pushed the trolley Bailey stuck Thomas the Tank Engine stickers all over her arms and tops. We shopped and spent a lot of money for a lot of food. Then we all came home in a very hot car. No-one slept which I knew would happen because we had a special visitor. Everyone stocked up on food. That is except Bailey. He so much prefers to throw his food. I think Nanny was astounded as to how messy he is as an eater and how much he throws his food.
We regrouped and ate lunch then headed off to the cheap supermarket to get some fruit and vegies. The shops were still busy. It certainly is easier with someone there to help me to distract the boys and push a stroller. We weren't at the shops for long because I had to work pretty soon. Homeward bound we came again in our hot car. Daddy was already home which was nice. The boys, nanny and daddy went outside and jumped on the trampoline. The laughter was so lovely to hear.
Once I finished work the madness continued until the boys finally fell asleep. Hooray! Brandon has already woken up a few times as he does when he is so incredibly tired. Hopefully he'll manage to stay asleep all night. I look forward to our adventures with Nanny tomorrow.
