We Love The Wiggles

The 2 boys, daddy, myself and nanny sweltered in the early morning heat and humidity. So we all decided to go swimming. We packed children and clothes and towels, food and ourselves into the car and off we drove to the swimming pool. It was the perfect place to spend the morning. We had a great time. It bucketed down torrential rain but everyone kept swimming. Then the rain stopped and we kept swimming.

From the pool we all headed home so that Bailey could have a sleep and we could all get ready for the Wiggles concert this afternoon. But first I had to go to the shops and buy a top to wear out this afternoon. I truly have no clothes that are suitable to wear. I am lucky that I have clothes to wear during the day. Anyway I trawled through the thousands of shoppers buying all their Christmas presents. I managed to find a pink top and a pear of jeans. I got the jeans for $10.40. What a bargain. They had been so reduced because no-one really wants to wear jeans in summer. Except me occasionally. Anyway I took my new clothes and bought a veggie pasta and some tomato sauce and jumped back into the car, ate some mobile lunch, and headed home. It was sweltering.

Once home daddy and I were racing. We had to get all four of us ready, everyone dressed and fed and bags all packed to go the concert. We did it. We got into the car and drove down the driveway and it rained and rained. Now it was a massive dump of water. We had to get petrol. We got rather wet, especially daddy as he put petrol in my car. What a man!

We headed down the highway to the Entertainment Centre in preparation for the arrival of the Wiggles. Now I thought it was torrential rain over the past 30 minutes, but by now you couldn't even see out the front car window. It was horrendous and we had to go out in it to get to the concert. Of course there was no undercover  or underground parking so we ran with 2 kids, 2 kids umbrellas, 2 bags and 2 kids. We ran very fast and luckily we made it all OK. The concert was great. A bit different to what I expected in that it wasn't quite as fast paced as what I would have imagined. A little bit different to their DVDs. It was great fun. Bailey managed to move the whole entire 90minutes of the concert. He didn't stay still for 1 single second. He kept daddy and I very busy.

We came home and the boys went crazy. We ordered Indian Home Delivery thinking that we would all be able to eat dinner together before then putting the boys to bed. However, the Indian shop mixed up our order and the boys continued on their silliness. So once both boys had had dinner with lots of good food, we washed and bathed and  tried to calm the 2 boys down. I wasn't successful. Fortunately both boys are asleep so now daddy and I can hang out together. Yippee!
