This is a photo that represents the outcome of every single time the 2 boys have on the trampoline. They jump and jump and jump and then Brandon rolls around the trampoline crashing into Bailey's legs which of course means that Bailey falls down. Bailey then takes revenge and jumps on Brandon and squashes him. It doesn't matter what time of day it is. The process is always the same. So when the 2 boys and I were jumping on the trampoline this morning at 6am and then when we were back jumping on the trampoline this afternoon at 4pm Brandon always ends up squashed. But they always have fun.
The 2 boys and I spent several hours just playing this morning. Aside from jumping on the trampoline the boys had a swing and a slide before then venturing back inside where we played with trains and jumped on the pogo stick. We also discovered old toys in the toy box as I had a rummage. The boys love it when I do that. They think that they have struck gold with all these toys to play with they haven't seen for ages. Eventually we had breakfast on my insistence otherwise the boys would just keep playing. When daddy awoke we hung around the house for awhile doing washing before we then found a whole heap more rubbish that we wanted to take to the tip. So, with the Ute full, off we went.
It was quite liberating to throw heaps of things away only to see them being completely squashed and destroyed under an enormous tractor. It's such a great feeling to de-clutter. From the tip, on mine and Brandon's insistence, we went to the local market right there at the tip. It was obviously all second hand things. A lot of it was rubbish but there was a few good renovating deals in there. Daddy and I found a beautiful French door that once sanded would have come up glorious. We also saw some really great kitchen sinks at a fantastic price. The boys found all the toys and were having a ball. They loved the markets. They were both so incredibly excited. We bought a little green matchbox car for Bailey and a paper aeroplane for Brandon and 2 drinks for daddy and myself. The boys were happily admiring their toys as we left the tip. Next stop was the petrol station to buy a paper but they had sold out. Therefore, next stop was the local convenience centre where we had more luck.
No-one slept today which is now just the standard thing, so we all had lunch and kept cool. The rest of the day was spent outside doing washing and playing on the play equipment and making sure that the boys were having genuine fun. Brandon has been so upset lately that I really wanted to make sure that he was OK today. At some point I headed inside to get my work room all ready and clean for the coming year. I heard Brandon's door slam once and then went to investigate. He was cranky and didn't want anyone looking at him while he sat on his bed and looked at the pictures on his big fairy tale book. So I closed the door and retreated back to my work room. Daddy and I played tag team as I finished and came outside with Bailey, daddy went inside to organise all his work things. Eventually Brandon came back outside quite happy. So we just carried on playing and he slotted straight back in. The 2 boys and I jumped and jumped and jumped. When everyone was hot, sweaty and tired we came in where I turned the TV on and the boys watched cartoons while I cooked dinner. Both boys shovelled their food in. There is no other way to describe it. I just sat there watching them. I didn't dare talk because I wanted them to eat as much as possible. Of course, 1 hour later after they had had a bath and brushed their teeth, both boys decided that they needed even more food. So Bailey had a piece of bread with butter on it, a yoghurt, a banana, and a heap of Parmesan cheese. Brandon just had yoghurt and a banana although he wanted a whole packet of biscuits as well but I pulled him up there. So, needless to say that both boys got into bed and fell straight asleep with full bellies. It seems to work for them just eating and eating and eating.
