Sticking Together

We are about the only suburb in Queensland that hasn't flooded. And that's being serious. I have never seen anything like these floods in all my life. Needless to say we spent the day watching the news on TV to make sure we would all be OK. As I sit here to write my record of the day I am watching the news and they have just said that tomorrow the Brisbane river will rise to over 21metres. Apparently over 80 suburbs are expected to flood and the electricity company will turn off all the electricity in the city at 7am tomorrow. Scary stuff. I went up to the local supermarket this afternoon as the floods worsened to do a "just in case we flood or get stranded" shop. Needless to say that today's entry will be short and sweet because I'm somewhat anxious. The boys know what's going on and they appreciate that we all have to stick together. Doing what we do best.
