Tonight we are in Armidale, regional New South Wales, getting ready to look at a property tomorrow that we have had our eye on for some time. Infact we have put in several offers on the property, all of which have been politely declined. As we were all holidaying only 2 1/2hrs away from this town we thought we would head on over and check out the property market again. We left our holiday cabin at around 10am this morning. It was extremely hot and actually humid and it looked like it was going to rain. So it was a good day to be departing. As eager as we are to get home, it is with some sadness that we leave our holiday destination as the freedom to go between the beach and the pool was an admirable position. So we left and travelled to our next port of call. We discovered some beautiful towns along the way, in particular Belligen. It was just so very beautiful. Definitely worth having a look at some time and explore. Luckily we weren't affected by any of the floods happening at the moment.
We arrived in Armidale early afternoon and proceeded to drive around looking at real estate. The market has really taken off since we last bought our other place here. The town has really grown. We found our accommodation for the night. We are staying in a beautiful 2 bedroom house that is just immaculate. Everything you could ever think of is here for you. Even bread in the freezer especially for you on arrival if you don't get a chance to call in to the shops. We have stayed in another one of these houses here previously as the company have 3 in Armidale. We like them for many reasons especially because you are heavily penalised if there is even a whiff of cigarette smoke or any signs of pets. Hence why they are immaculate.
We found our bearings again and then jumped back in the car and drove around looking for somewhere that was open to get some food. It was hard as today was New Years Day Public Holiday so no-one was keen for our service. We eventually found a great corner shop that had everything and it was pumping with people. It was so good. Then it started pouring with rain. In fact it was a torrential downpour and we got stuck in it. We headed back to our house for the night and then settled in with some dinner. The 2 boys took about 5 minutes to go to sleep. It makes a difference now they are in a bigger room in a house. I didn't have to coax them or bribe them to bed. They just went to sleep. Tomorrow we are back in the car and on the move again. Daddy and I can't wait.
